And I’d like to give you options (because I love options).
1) “General Admission” Ticket is $12 and includes a CD at the show. (Evan you say, what’s up with that? Read HERE details)
2) The Special “4-pack” (4 seats for $40, essentially buy 3 get 1). This is the “bring an extra friend package, and includes one CD (there will be more for sale that night for $10). There are a limited of these.
3) The “VIP ticket” this is an hour long “meet and greet” dinner with the band, includes thai and sushi/wine and beer/ a CD, first choice seating in the theater (as it happens in the theater before the show). This ticket is $45. The VIP ticket initially sold out (only 30) but we added a few more.
This is a Special Event and a Special Time for us and we want you there to celebrate the Launch of “Say It.”
I was listening to the new recording last night with the guys, checking everything, making notes (we’re planning the CD release and the show on September 24th).
And, of course I have my way of doing things. I tend to be impulsive. You know: more on the “now, now, now” side, but both Phil and John tend to be more “soon, soon, soon.”
There’s part of my personality that’s a bit like that (and can be
troublesome). But the same impulsiveness that drives me to be
writing, practicing, and playing all the time (progressing), can also
sometimes allow me to drive straight off the cliff (yep, it happens).
Both John and Phil correct me. They help me out. You know, calm me down.
And that’s another reason that the “chemistry” of the trio works so well.
And, it’s another component to having spent 10 months making the best
recording I’ve ever made. You’re going to love it.
See you on the 24th.

“Let Me” is in the STORE, right here on the website (You know, the new soul ballad they keep talking about?)
It’s the first and only “pre-released track” from the upcoming recording.
And it’s priced here just for my fans, (I’m keeping it off itunes for the time being). 50 Cents (well 49, but who’s counting?)
Go Get It!
I met someone recently who reminded me of how fortunate I am. An
accomplished singer/pianist/dancer/model “princess” of sorts spent
a considerable amount of time in her native NYC working towards being
the next “Celine Dion”. Thus working with producers on image and material,
showcasing to major record labels, -think American Idol style.

Most likely everyone has a different understanding of “being the
next,” so let me see if I can sum it up. Aiming to be the next “Celine”, or anyone for that matter, is a common big biz music industry
practice of creating a recognizable “product” (think commonality) in
order to sell, sell, sell. Playing this game for an artist, in a lot
of ways, is like going into a casino with the goal of “taking the
house.” For every artist that vies for this spot there are a million
that don’t make it and in her own words, she told me, “it was all or nothing at all.”
When it “didn’t happen” she packed up and left. And she hasn’t
performed/written/created since.
I’ve got nothing in common with someone like this because I can’t
imagine packing up and leaving. You could say my life has been the
flip opposite method (talking grassroots people). I play shows anywhere
and everywhere, make friends and fans one at a time and always enjoy
it.

As artists, inevitably, there are questions we can’t really answer:
Why we perform, why we thrive on creation and writing, why we pick it
up in the first place?
For me, it’s always been about these unanswerable questions and the
process, it’s not about fame or fortune, and it never was. It’s always
been about feeling good and having others feel the same way. And I’m
fortunate to have connected with so many people that are a part of it,
give to it, cherish what it is that I do.
So, perhaps while there are those out there who may pack up and leave,
I’ll be here, “sailing around the world,” and we’ll do it together.

The band will play the “Art Goes Green Riverfest” In downtown Lowell, MA on Saturday June 12th. This is a free daytime concert, put on by the RIVER 92.5FM featuring many great acts. EGB @ 2:45pm (for an hour or so) ADDRESS is 30 MERRIMACK ST. (directly across from the LOWELL MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM)
